Is it too early for wine?

Mr DOMADQ is away.  ALL WEEKEND.  I have spent  the last couple of days 'dealing' with nits, juggling 2 small girls, diffusing tantrums, rushing around trying to making arrangements for Mr D's looming birthday celebrations, buying presents, wrangle children in shopping centres, encouraging small girls to paint a lovely canvas for Daddy, making pizza dough, assuring my smallest girl that indeed she will get to 'decorate' the pizza as soon as the dough is proved.  Nothing unusual really, just without the grown up chatting really.

Still pizza decorating, cooking & eating to be done, along with bath time and bed  before I can even think about that bottle of wine in the fridge & brain rotting X Factor.  Tunnel vision till then.

  2. Sound pretty hectic....but very familiar! I hate it when my man goes away, which fortunately is rather rare...I always find myself counting the hours til bedtime so I can collapse in a heap and watch trash on i-player (and have a drink o'cider!) and hello.. by the way...I'm your partner for Lakota's xmas parcel swap!! :) nice to meet you!

  4. Why thank you Lakota. And hello Little Dotty Bird! I have been meaning to message you myself. How exciting both that we're doing the swap and that I know someone else has read my blog! (I am still really new at all this and have only really told about 3 people where to find it & I feel a bit shy about it). I am looking foward to hunting out interesting things for your parcel x

  5. I hid my blog for a while too, I started it back in May but I seem to have found a nice "crowd" now! Its weird really the whole thing, but I have been enjoying writing and reading about other folks! Don't be shy...come out and play!
My aim when I started was to purely write about crafting and then my family life creeped in and then pretty much anything that pops into my scattered brain!

Really looking forward to making up your parcel, get bloggin so I can gather as much idea as I can about the kind of stuff you like!! :)

and I like your blog! ;)
