picture perfect
I've been having a sort out at home. On Sunday me & my mum started sifting through 2 huge cardboard boxes of photos I have with the view to putting them into albums. What a strange outdated concept that is these days, the only albums I've put together in recent years is on Facebook.
It's amazing how many I have not in albums & I kept thinking how did I afford to buy film/get them processed when I was a student? But am glad I did or I would be without the photographic evidence of our Vicars & Tarts party (so much blackmail potential for so many people) and other drunken moments.
So we looked & remembered & laughed. I did throw away some (out of focus, blurry self portraits, I even was daring enough to throw away a photo of my sister's ex boyfriend who I hated).
I then pulled out a pile of great photos and packed the rest back into the boxes (now only a box & a half, see some progress!) and put them away. Albums will wait for another day.
I then took photos of the select few & posted them on Facebook. Cue reminiscing & anecdotes from friends. A productive afternoon then. ;)

unmasked?
I am still not overly confident about telling people about this blog and so have so far resisted posting about it on Facebook, but am gradually telling a few friends in order to get some feedback.
The other night I messaged one who now lives in New Zealand, that's safe I thought, she's thousands of miles away.
The next morning I looked at Facebook and saw this!

And now the guesses have begun re: who I am
I actually think it's fairly easy to guess if you know me. But now I potentially have people I went to school with reading this, will it cramp my style???
Nah

breakdown in communication
My beautiful new(ish) phone is broken.
Obviously I have no insurance for it so there is no new phone for free :(
I want to cry. I did this, I am an idiot. Rationally I know it’s just a thing but it is my thing & in my world there aren’t that many of those really these days.
Mr DOMADQ has quite rightly pointed out I still have my old phone so all is not lost but (and I feel like I am adopting a teenage whinge) Facebook isn’t working on it and neither is the internet. Obviously neither are life threatening ailments but still…..*sticks out bottom lip*
Being my hero Mr D has just rushed off into town to try & buy me a new one. He says he’s not cross with me (but I would be), I do know he wishes I could ‘just make do with what I have at the moment’ and I’m not really certain why I can’t because that would definitely be the sensible thing to do. But am not feeling sensible, am feeling like a teenage 37 year old and I am sulking.
